Very easy to do. Would have liked a little more garlic and crispier bread, but overall, very good.

Never made homemade garlic bread and this looked easy so thought i would try. I used a french baguette and 2 tsps. jarred minced garlic and then followed the recipe the the T. It was good but I could not taste any of the garlic flavor. While I was disappointed with my first attempt, I am definately going to try again using more minced garlic and maybe some garlic powder!

It tasted like garlic bread! It was easy and simple. I mircowaved my mixture and added cheese. I should have added a little more cheese. I used a baguette and it was good. I think I'll try Ina's garlic bread and see which recipe I should keep.

I didn't think much of this when I tasted a piece right after it came out of the broiler. My husband, who ate a late dinner, thought this was much better than the store bought garlic bread I usually serve. It wasn't until I had a piece the next day when I tasted the full flavor of the garlic bread. It was wonderful! Next time, I'll prepare it earlier so it will have time to absorb the flavor. No more store bought garlic bread for my family. Thanks Rachael!

Don't think I'm kidding when I tell you that I tried this recipe when the BAD reviews complained about too much garlic or too much crunch. Since when is that BAD?! Someone else's 'bad' is my GOOD! love it b/c it IS garlicky and crunchy. I add chopped oregano when I have it handy. Ina's garlic bread with oregano is another recipe I like, but she omits butter and parm. Rachel adds that in hers. So that is why I sometimes 'blend' the best of two garlic bread recipes to make ONE fantastic garlic bread of my own creation.

I wanted a quick garlic bread to eat alongside some tomato soup. I followed the recipe exactly, but I felt it needed a little more flavor when it was done. I sprinkled it with a little sea salt and garlic powder and it was delicious! My fiance couldn't stop eating it!

Don't waste your time trying other recipes. This is the best garlic bread I've ever had.

I made this garlic bread for my valentine's day dinner with my husband and he absolutely LOVED it. I will definitely be making this again and the thing is that it is so easy to make. If you're looking for a great recipe for garlic bread, look no further, this is the one.
