I used to just use frozen garlic bread b/c it was so easy to make - but this is just as easy (if not easier and tastes so much better and more fresh. I've definately found a new staple for my meals.

I made this recipe along with Rachael's Pasta Putanesca. This garlic bread was the best I have ever had! All the flavor was there but it wasn't soggy with butter like so much of the garlic bread that you heat from the store or heat from the freezer. I added a little romano cheese to the top and it really finished it off. Our little family of three at the entire loaf (well, ok, our standard poodle had to have the last bite.

Very tasteful garlic bread! Loved it alot. Word of advice to people who are going to try this recipe. If you are going to add cheese to the bread, make sure you don't bake the bread too much before added the spread mixture. If you toast the bread too much, once you put the bread back into the oven to melt the cheese, your bread will get burnt. Trust me, I know from expierence!
