I tried this recipe tonight and it turned out pretty good. Its a great twist on two traditional side items. I mad a few alterations though. I used minced garlic instead of fresh clove garlic (that's all I had on hand and I had to use more cream than the recipe called for as well.

    SMILE;-

Did anyone notice that the parmesan cheese is not included in the recipe??? Also substituted manchego cheese and is excellent!

Apparently I'm the odd one here but I didn't really like this recipe. I thought it would be a great way to sneak spinach into my my 20 month old son's tummy but he spotted it and wanted nothing to do with it. But that's not why I'm giving it two stars, it honestly was just ok, nothing special. And I had to add some milk because the potatoes were not mashing in a smooth enough consistency with the ingredients listed. Boo hoo.

These were GREAT! Very easy to make, and very, very tasty! Made them to go along with the Gorgonzola filled meatballs and Tomato gravy from the same episode. I will make these again, and again, and again... I am also going to try them with roasted garlic. Yum.
