I made this dip (doubled the recipe a few weekends ago when we were having company over. I made it excatly as the recipe stated, and it came out delicious!! Two people at our part said they really didn't like guacamole, but after they tasted it, they kept eating it! We devoured the large bowl of it that I put out with regular tortilla chips. Luckily, I still had some stashed in the fridge which my husband & I finished the next day!! Even though I used lemon (as in the recipe, it kinda tasted like lime. I'm going to make this again for a party next month--can't wait to have it again!! Thanks Rachel!!!

My sister asked me to bring the snacks for our family Memorial Day. My new Walmart Supercenter had some nice "ripe" avocados, so I decided to make this recipe. I doubled the recipe and there was none left!! Everybody raved about it! I will definitely make this again. It was delicious!!!

I had to cheat but made it even easier and so YUMMY I needed a quick dip. I had everything but the tomatoes and jalapeno BUT I did have a can of diced tomatoes with jalapeno. I simply drained the canned tomatoes and mixed it in with the other ing. I just love it. By using the canned tomatoes with jalapeno you decide how hot or mild you want the dip. I also eliminated the onion as that was also in the canned tomatoes.

Very tasty with lime instead of lemon but just as much garlic as other recipes. Nothin to special or different.

I have made this recipe for over 3 years!!! You MUST LOVE garlic! In fact the more garlic, kosher salt and lime juice the better. Mince the garlic in a mincer for ease with prep, grate the onion for it's juice (it adds the flavor with out the pieces. Use a potato masher to mix. It keeps chunks while mixeing flavors well! Another reason to eat avacados.

I used cilantro as well and this makes it WAY better if you like it.. Also, lime (less than what recipe calls far not lemon and cut back on the garlic (used powder and onions. These are all such strong ingredients so I did use a little less of some to our liking. Great recipe.

I love, love, love this recipe. I will warn you in advance, you should definitely be a fan of garlic to appreciate it. Every time I bring it to a tailgate or a party, there isn't any left when I go home. Another warning, USE GLOVES when you cut the jalepenos. I made the mistake of not using them and ended up with burning eyes and a burning nose. If you handle the seeds or inside of the pepper at all, it will take a day or two for the oils to get out of your skin. So again, use the gloves!!!
