I got a fondue pot for my birthday and this was the first recipe I made!! I did have to turn the heat up a bit to keep it from gumming up, as others have mentioned. My only criticism of this recipe is that it was a bit salty. I might omit the gruyere in the future. Definitely worth trying overall :

This is an awesome recipe and So easy! We used baby carrots, sourdough & pumpernickel bread and granny smith apples for dippers. We did'nt use a fondue pot, instead we used a hot HOT pot of water and put our bowl down into that to keep the cheese warm.

    This was soooo yummy! :

The Fondue was OK, but dipping the little smokies was very greasy and fatty. I would reccommend only dipping veggies and bread; anything greasy is too much.

Used swiss and cheddar and this had great flavor. However, all of the cheese didn't melt, wasn't smooth, what did I do wrong?

Loved the recipe! I couldn't remember the correct cheese to buy when I was shopping for ingredients so I just bought whatever.......Moz. and Ched. and it worked great! I love the versitility and high impact flavor of this recipe. It was delicious, my husband loved it too.

this was very easy to make but it gummed up severely in the fondue pot after a few minutes. We had to toss about half of it out. The flavors were nice for the few minutes we were about to get at them though...

This was awesome! The kids loved it because they could play with their food, and what kid doesn't like cheese? Thanks Rachael, we love your show and your recipes.
