My family loves this meal. They would be happy to have it every week. The only thing I do different is divide the potatoes in half before mixing so I can make spicy for my husband & me & not so much for the kids & my mom. I told my oldest boy we were having this for dinner tonight & he actually jumped & whooped!

Quick and easy! I marinated the meat the night before and it turned out perfect!

I love this meal. The flank steak is very flavorful and the wasabi in the potatoes really adds a nice taste. I have made this twice and the first time it was perfect the second time I under cooked the meat just a little but it was still good.

Terrific flavors combined with easy cooking. We changed it up a little and used thin slices chicken breasts and Montreal Seasoning for chicken.

WOW! Not a RR fan, but I tried this because of the rave reviews. A+ RR! Excellent and different way to make flank steak. Making this AGAIN via request from my husband for the second time in a month.

Delish! Will make the meat again. Marinated the meat in the refrigerator for an hour - it was full of flavor. Served with risotto & grilled portabello mushroom. Didn't have potatoes.

I made this the other night and thought it was a very simple and easy recipe. I let the meat marinate for about an hour, still felt it could have used something else, more oommph. Anyway, good! Well worth the effort.

This steak was pretty good. I liked that it is so simple to marinade and cook. My kids and husband really enjoyed it too. In fact my 2-year old asked for seconds.

The only things I did different were with the ginger and lime juice. I did not want to deal with fresh ginger so I used just under a teaspoon of ground ginger. I bought some limes for the zest but since they were pretty hard I didn't bother to juice them, but instead used pre-made lime juice.

We are not big fans of mashed potatoes, so I didn't try that recipe at all.
