Loved it! It feels luxurious to eat without being heavy. While the flavors are delicate, this is simply delicious as-is.

like some other reviews I thought it lacks in flavor but it is easy to prepare and for me something a little different than the usual side dish.
It was worth trying but would not make it again.

thought it was a good dish, easy to make but i agree with some of the other reviewers about it being a little lacking in flavor. it was my first time cooking with saffron and i can't say that i'm too impressed with the flavor of it and for the price i think i'll substitute it for something else next time. i added one more zucchini than the recipe called for and also added shredded rotisserie chicken which i really liked, helped make it more of a meal rather than maybe just a side dish of pasta. all in all, would definitely make this again but find another spice to kick it up a notch!

This is one of my favorite meals ever! So many flavors! DO NOT leave out any ingredients in this dish. The saffron definitely is expensive but I priced it at a few different stores and Trader Joes was by far the cheapest (about $5. Heirloom tomatoes can get expensive too but everything is totally worth it! This dish is easy to make, a crowd pleaser and impressive all at the same time! LOVE IT.

Beautiful presentation. Lacking in flavor. Followed recipe exactly, but added more zucchini based on other reviews. Needed a kick but can't figure out what that would be to compliment the saffron/egg. It certainly looked good. Maybe it was lacking in salt, because I don't like using to much (used one teaspoon.

This was awesome for my family of five. My girls ate as much as the adults! We used the yellow grape tomatoes and kept the rest the same. Thanks Rachael!

This was excellent - very tasty and rich in feel. I cheated and used a can of chopped red tomatoes, it was still awesome. My husband ate 3 full plates! I will probably try it with fresh tomatoes and add more zucchini next time.

This looked good, so I tried it. My entire household loved it. I only used about 2/3 of a pound of fettucine, but kept all the other amounts the same. The egg and saffron-infused chicken broth really made a great "sauce." The only thing I'd change when I make this again would be to use more vegetables. I loved the little matchsticks of zucchini! There didn't seem to be as many as I'd like there to have been, even with the reduced amount of pasta.

Good flavors and great way to add vegetables to dinner. I used cherry tomatoes from my garden instead of the heirloom tomatoes and it was still very good and the red added some nice color. My mother was over for dinner and asked for the receipe and my teenager took seconds (not that she is a picky eater but not a big fan of vegetables, so I would definitely recommend trying this one. Not giving it five stars simply because there are other pasta receipes out there that I absolutely loved so wanted to keep the five star rating for those.

I really wanted to love this recipe. It looked and sounded so wonderful. Instead, my wife and I thought it was good, but just average. It seemed to actually lack any defining or strong flavor. I will admit that I couldn't find yellow tomatoes, so we used red. We also forgot to get fresh thyme, so we used (a lot of dried thyme. That could have made a difference. Due to health restrictions, we're also very, very light salt users, so if this recipe depended on strong flavor of salt, we couldn't do that. I didn't taste any impact the saffron or egg yolks had.
