Into the meat mix chopped Kale and Spinach. Saute in iron pan and add chopped eggplant,
chopped fresh tomatoes, cannellini beans, mushrooms and chopped garlic. Some white wine.
Some Portuguese Allspice. Pour over egg noodles. AWESOME....many compliments recieved! thank you...

I made a couple of modifications and ended up really liking this dish. I added garlic to the meatballs, and a bit of oregano. I decided to thicken up the sauce with some butter and flour before adding the wine to the pan. I also added some chicken stock to mellow out the intense flavor of the wine. Then served over egg noodles. Definitely what my family calls a "do-over."

I made these for my boyfriend and he absolutely flipped. I used ground turkey instead of beef/lamb and also substituted some apple cider vinegar for 1/2 of the wine (as I had run out. Served with some brown rice mixed with lemon, kalamata olives and feta. Perfect combo!

I cant complain it was easy to make, but the results were disgusting. I couldnt even serve this to my family. I wasted all my food because I threw it all away. There was no flavor, I dont know what to say except NASTY!

It's too simple. It needs different seasoning or something because it was just too blah.

I actually wasn't very impressed with this. It wasn't bad, but it was too simplistic, and needed more spices or flavors. I like the idea of putting feta in though - I may try that.

This was simple and quick. My wife and I made it with my 1 year old terrorizing the living room. I used turkey instead and it came out perfect.

Really easy - really good. Make extra and freeze. Even good cold from fridge!
