Simple, perfect and yummy! Use sea salt as a great finishing touch.
I grew up in an Italian American home and mom cooked the beans to death, so I do cook them a bit longer as a preference. About 10 minutes total boiling time.

Not the garlic green beans you get at a steakhouse but perfect for "at home and simple." We had it as a side dish to some health-ified macaroni and cheese.

This was good although lacked a punch of flavor. Worth trying one time then would add to or change up a bit.

These are wonderful as a quick side dish or sometimes I just eat them with a baked sweet potato for a lighter dinner. They are delicious!!!

I made this for one of my side dishes at Christmas 2005. Everyone loved it. There was none left at the end of the meal. A great side dish for any meal. I'll be making this again.

This has became a regular recipe around our house. We like it with almonds or pine nuts... Easy & good.

This dish was impressive and fast, making it look time consuming but ready in a hurry! The only alteration I made was adding 3 slices finely chopped bacon. Delicious!
