We have a restaurant here thats specialty is strawberry salad, it consists of; romaine lettuce, chopped strawberries, mozzerella, candied walnut pieces and a red wine vinegarette (excuse my spelling.....when I oder it I have them add red onions.....it is the best!!!! Anyway, I wanted to duplicate it, so I used this recipe, I added baby romaine leaves (the pre-washed kind, finely shredded mozzerella cheese, pecan pieces (not candied, sliced strawberries and red onions along with the recipe for the dressing. It was outrageous and much less expensive to make at home. They give you mostly lettuce and I can control that at home.

This was delicious and super easy to make. I added parsley and walnuts, swapped the romaine with baby spinach, and served it with baked macaroni and cheese. But I think on it's own, goat cheese would be absolutely fabulous. The dressing is fragrant and tasty and just gets better as it sits. My boyfriend, who doesn't really like fruit....or vegetables, ate a generous helping of it and even enjoyed it!

I thought it was pretty good. I think adding some goat cheese to it would have been good. If I make it again, I will try that.

It sounds weird, but it's good. I usually double her recipe because it does not make enough dressing for us. I also add walnuts and feta cheese and it is realllly delicious!

This is one of my favorite salad dressing recipes. My husband doesn't usually like fruit in his salad but he like this salad dressing. I also added strawberries and manderine oranges to the salad.

I loved this dressing. It's so incredibly easy to make and just a wonderful, slightly sweet from the jam, but still a bit tangy from the vinegar. It's absolutely delicious. And the best part is that now we've learned the method and we can switch in any of our favorite flavors! Thanks Rachael!

I took this salad to a family reunion where everyone is very old fashioned, for example, tacos are bad. They loved it, and I loved making it!

This is a light and tasty salad that is perfect for summer. I used spinach rather than other greens and it was a huge hit! My 5 and 1.5 year old loved it too!

I loved this salad... it was really fresh and perfect for summer! It was almost like a dessert rather than a salad... I made it to go with the sloppy joe di maggios... it was great!
