    Wa-hoo, this is now a kitchen staple in my house! After reading the reviews before making, the "baby spit-up" comment was well said. First effort was great, but then added a (leftover 1/2 of a shallot to the blend and added a fine diced red bell pepper for garnish.
    I'd give it a 6th star if I could; Love you, Rachel!

    I guess maybe it tastes somewhat OK, but sadly it just looks plain awful! The pesto itself is a nice quick 'n easy recipe but it just does not work as a dressing for salad.

    Um, I made this recipe and usually Rachael Ray's recipes are great. However,this one wasn't so good. It reminded me of the split pea baby spit-up on lettuce. I guess it's back to the drawing board.

    This was the first time EVER that my eight year old son has eaten more than a 'no thank you' bite of salad. He loved the dressing. I loved the dressing. Even my 6 year old liked it. She and I made the dressing together. We had a great time.

    I even served it in a green bowl too.
