I saw this when it aired way awhile back...made it while it was fresh in my mind and loved it. I need to see the video again to organize the choreography in MY kitchen.....help?

I loved this recipe. I don't know why other reviewers think there are so many steps. Nothing more than an average night dinner. Extremely simple. I didn't do the mashed potatoes, although they sound delicious. It was an excellent meal as I ladled the tomato sauce, then the chicken and mushroom. Had a simple salad on the side and that was plenty. Added some grated parmesan on top. Seems like a very easy recipe to substitute such as dried rosemary for fresh. Loved it. And the thighs are soooo much more tasty and moist than breasts.

This is just OK and here's why: There are a lot of steps for a weeknight. I followed the recipe down to the Muir Glen. My whole family tried it Mom, Dad and 20+ sons home from college. All said nothing special but not bad. On a positive note, the marinade grilled chicken and mushrooms stand well alone as well as the potatoes if you'd like to use for another recipe. Yes, easy...a lot of easy steps.

I have made this several times and have changed it up a few times as well. Most of the time I use chicken breasts rather than thighs (not a fan of dark meat. I don't always make it with the smashed potatoes either. This is a really good recipe and it's something we love!!

I'm lazy in the kitchen and can't always find the fresh herbs & spices I need, so used Gourmet Garden's (gourmetgarden.com squeeze tube garlic, chili pepper and parlsey from my local Safeway's produce department. No fuss, no mess or waste. This was wonderful!

I have never taken the time to return to a website and leave a review on anything before in my life. This meal did take me longer than 30 minutes, but it was WELL worth it! This meal was so delicious it is now a must have staple. The chicken thighs are so moist, juicy, and full of flavor. The potatoes were full of cheesy goodness. I was worried the tomato sauce would take away from the other flavors, but if you take a little bite with the potatoes, you get new falvorful bites. I plan on making this once a week. Excellent job, Rachael!

Our Grandson cooked this excellent meal for us. It was very tasty, to say the least, and looking forward to the SuperSmash potatoes again at the holidayt period.

This recipe is fabulous and you don't have to grill anything. I just cooked it up in a non-stick skillet. First the chicken, then the mushrooms, removed to plate and covered and then added vegetables to pan to cook. Clean up was simple.

Easy to fix, tasty, and everyone from the 4 year old to the 44 year old LOVED it! That get's five stars. Hubby can grill the chicken and mushrooms while mom and helpers prep the rest. Really, really, savory and hearty! Served with a spinach salad and warm, spoon cake for dessert. Perfect!

The chicken thighs make this recipe moist and flavorful. It took me nearly an hour to make, but I could probably get this down as I make it more often. My only complaint was that the smashed potatoes could have used more salt but my husband went back for thirds. A wonderful recipe that is easy enough to make during a busy week!
