I prepared this meal (except the asparagus salad and it was fantastic. I followed the recipe as it is and will definitely make it again. I'm not a huge fan of tartar sauce but this was excellent! Next time, I will only make half as I had a lot left over.

We made it to go with some Fish and Chips. Oh my word, better than any sauce I've had anywhere. It's tangy, and dill-y and SO freaking easy. I whipped it out in less than 5 minutes, and it was supreme!

My family's mouths were on fire! We went through 2 quarts of lemonade, and most of the sandwiches wound up in the garbage. I looked back at the recipe and found my mistake. Instead of 2 teaspoons of Old Bay Crab Boiling seasoning, I used the entire package and rolled the fish in it! The tartar sauce was excellent and I'm sure the sandwich would have been also if not for my silly mistake! I will be trying it again.

I don't like fish for the most part but this I LOVE. When I made this for my inlaws they we surprised that I was eating it. Just by Halibut filets & not steaks it makes things a lot easier.

I enjoy my meat more cooked than Rachel does- but other than that; absolutely delicious! And of course the best tartar sauce I have ever had! Even though I didn't have any cayenne pepper. New family fav.!

Wouldn't you know, my daughter wanted "home fries" for a snack close to dinner. I had halibut waiting for dinner and remembered this recipe. I printed it off, checked the ingredients ( I had them all! so made it.
It was absolutely yummy, especially the tarter sauce. And it really did take me only 30 or so minutes!!
We'll do this one again, and the tarter sauce many times!!

My husband and I love halibut; and we both agree that this is the best fish sandwich we've ever had. So easy to prepare and so absolutely delicious. I served with a lemon-avocado red potato salad and caesar coleslaw--not a 30 minute meal, but wonderful sides with this sandwich. This will be a standard at our house. Made a halibut salad with the leftovers--flaked the fish, added some chopped parsley and grated lemon peel, a little more lemon juice and the leftover tartar sauce from this recipe; and that was yummy, too.

This recipe was quick and delicious. I substituted grouper for the halibut. The lemon butter is what gives it the extra taste. I will fix this again for sure.

I love fish and chips except how bad they are for you. This recipe was a great substitute for the sandwich. I used fat-free tartar sauce which was good and served it with french fries that I make from scratch in the oven. So easy, make potato wedges, grease cookie sheet, sprinkle wedges with Old Bay, then cook on 400 degrees for 15 minutes. It was a great healthy version of a classic meal. Thanks Rachel!
