I quickly get tired of plain grilled chicken breast in the summer time and this was a wonderful change. I marinated the chicken for a few hours and then we cut it and put in tortillas with peppers and onions for fajitas. Yum!

It's been a while, since I originally made this dish, and I'm getting hungry for it again! We made the sandwiches and the slaw and loved both. We did marinate the chicken for about an hour, since we'd read the reviews before we made it. Will be making soon, so my college student can try it, since she's home for the summer now. Looking forward to cooking the chicken outside on the grill now, too.

This recipe was disgusting. The flavors were mismatched and even the photo looks horrible.

After reading the fantastic reviews I decided to try this recipe. It was just ok. I marinated the chicken for a couple of hours even and it just didn't have much flavor to me.

This recipe is great. The avocado on the sandwich gives it a nice taste.

I've made these sandwiches several times, and they just get better and better. Today's the first time I made the slaw, which was delicious.

I made Giada's sweet potato fries and garlic mayonnaise as another side dish, using cilantro and lime instead of basil and lemon. The mayo was great on the sandwich, too, as a less spicy condiment than the salsa verde.

My boyfriend and i loved these sandwiches. It has been added to our meal rotation. We are going to try it without the bun.. just chicken, homemade verde sauce, avocado, and whatever else on top :o Very good!

This was an instant hit. My husband and I both loved it. Like some of the other reviews the only thing different I did was add more lime juice. The first lime didn't seem like it was going to be enough juice. Make sure you get a really good Salsa Verde that topped it.
