My husband LOVES reubens and I saw this on the show, so I thought I'd try it. I actually was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it considering I'm not a reuben lover. I couldn't find roasted red pepper relish, so I just used jarred roasted red peppers, they seemed to work.

This recipe was pretty good but I would not add a whole cup of beer as it made kraut to wet, which made sandwich hard to stay together. I couldn't find sweet relish either in store,so I used sweet stripes instead.
But I LOVE Rachael Ray and Paula Deen too!

I fixed these last night after watching Rachel fix them. They were easy and so delicious. I used dark whole grain bread rather than rye as my husband doesn't care for rye bread and I didn't have the red pepper relish so used regular pickle relish. These were simply delicious! This is a "do again" recipe for sure!

This is a real favorite of my family. It's a winner every time and it's so easy to do. I might try Provolone cheese next time as my daughter doesn't like swiss.

This was a great sandwich and easy to make. The only thing we really had a problem with was the sauerkraut, it turned out Very strong. I think next time I would just do plain sauerkraut with caraway. The relish gave it a great flavor.

Used cider vinegar because it's what was on hand. Also substituted sweet relish as opposed to red pepper relish. Still terrific.
Delicious, VERY easy, VERY quick to make. I'm keeping this.

I enjoyed these sandwiches very much. I was able to use my George Forman grill to heat them up.

Couldn't find the roasted red pepper relish, so I used Thousand Island dressing and it worked out great. Also substituted dill rye bread for better taste. This was quick, fast and easy. Thumbs up.

If you can find the ingredients,
if you can follow the recipe,
and if the wife and kids don't steal your food, this makes a successful and satisfying meal.
