Best fish taco recipe! Substituted cilantro for the scallions and used canned tomatos and corn! It was so good we ate it two nights in a row. I used Basa instead of Halibut! still good!! I will make this again for sure

This is an excellent twist on typical tacos! The grilled/smoky flavor of the fish paired really well with the buttery texture of the avocado! I cut all my recipes down to serve just one, so I used only 1/2 an avocado with this recipe but that still yielded way too much guacamole sauce! Even so, it was delicious and satisfying!

Normally not a huge fan of Rachel's but this recipe is amazing. The guacamole sauce saves for a few days and is good on so many things. Last time I used cod because it was on sale and it was still very good... basically the sauce makes it regardless of the fish.

This dish is quick and easy to make. The gauc is excellent. I did doctor the sauce a little bit. I added some cayenne pepper, jalapeno juice, and a splash of hot sauce. You can play with the sauce and make it what you want it to be. I use tallapia because any white fish will do and halibut is costly. The gauc goes great with chips too. I also used corn tortillas instead of flour just because that's what my family likes.

Another hit from Rachael Ray! I followed the basic recipe, but made a few adjustments that I ended up enjoying. First, I substituted a premixed bag of shredded cabbage for the lettuce and threw it in with the guac instead of the tomatoes (so it was kind of like a coleslaw. I love the tang that the yogurt added to it, and preferred it to the sour cream version. I also add a dash of worcestershire to round it off. I also used fresh cilantro in favour of scallions and added corn and a tiny dash of super hot salsa verde to the tomatoes and served them as a separate condiment. I also used sole instead of halibut (sole is way more within my budget range, unfortunately I don't feel like I lost too much in taste, but a more "flakey" fish would have worked out better, in my opinion. Bottom line..... this one's a keeper!

These tacos are to die for. So easy and so healthy and so delicious. My kids even love them. I gave some to my physical fitness trainer and he is still ranting and raving about them. He loves the fact that the guac is made with yogurt. Thanks Rachel.

Loved the guac. Used sour cream instead of yogurt. Used cod instead of halibut. Served to dinner guests and they ate every bit.

Don't get me wrong they're still pretty good but several strange ingredients here. Yogurt in guac sauce? Lettuce instead of cabbage on a fish taco? No deep frying fish in fish tacos? Turned out pretty good anyway but it doesn't remind me of being in south California.
