This is an insult to even call this a recipe. And it is a waste of good EVOO. RR, I hope you served something better than this on Easter!

Reheating already cooked ham and calling it a recipe? At least she pairs it with a couple of sides. This really shouldn't have been listed as a "recipe." I also agree that it is a waste of good olive oil. A teeny bit of butter would have worked just fine.

I find the use of olive oil to be completely unnecessary here. The ham steak can simply be heated through in a pan filled with a small amount of water, or grilled on a grill pan. It actually IS possible sometimes to cook something without the ever so precious extra virgin olive oil. Perhaps Ms. Ray should try it once in a while.
