this chicken was out of this world!! i love the crunchyness of the hazelnuts. i not a big fan of blue cheese, but the gogonzola cheese sauce was awsome!! i invited friends and family over to try this chicken and they loved it as well.

Very quick and easy. This dish looks perfect in a long platter with the gorganzola sauce drizzled on top and thus is ideal for entertaining a small dinner party! For side dishes try a light mediteranian salad with hazelnuts, olives, apple slices, crumbled gorganzola, baby field greens, lemon zest, and a spash of balasmic. Also add some garlic spinach and cream cheese pasta to the side, you'll have a colorful and easy meal for 6-8 people

I made this for Valentines Day. My husband and I loved the sauce and the chicken. However, we did not like the hazelnuts. It was WAY to much. I love Nutella, but hazelnuts by itself and that many are just to much.

The nuts fell off and the sauce was thin. Can't like 'em all!

I thought the sauce was too runny, so I made a roux to thicken it up. Also, at first taste of the sauce, it was really salty, but having it with the chicken mellowed it out.

We made this with pecans and it was amazing (shelled hazelnuts were not available. Go easy on the sage garnish. Took 15 to 20 minutes longer. Highly recommend this dish for a small dinner gathering.
