I make this with Olive oil, or meted butter. My oven doesn't go to 500 degrees so I lower the temperature, and increase the cooking time. This bakes just as well at 375 for 30-45 (depends on your oven than it does at 500 degrees at 25 minutes.

Great side item, wish I had made a bigger batch, kids left no leftovers to put away.

Wonderful, crispy fries! Will definitely make again. Boyfriend loved them. Served with honey mustard sauce and blue cheese hamburgers.

Mix one part leftover pesto sauce with one to three parts mayonaise for a yummy sauce.

My fiance made these for me, and they were sooo good! He cut some of the potatoes very thin so they got nice and crispy. I like to dip mine in ketchup, but he likes Ranch dressing (like eating sour cream and onion potato chips!.

As if I expected anything else. These were easy and tasty. I did add a little garlic, and next time will toss with the oil before spreading on the baking sheet. I will definately make these again! Thanks, Rachel!

This dish met with mixed reviews at my house. Ratings ranged from 3-4, with the ease of making it resulting in a "4." The directions could have been a little more specific. The number of potatoes should be specified, i.e., small, medium or large. I ended up using 1 medium size potato per person and that was about right. I increased the amount of oil and spice to result in 5 servings, and tossed the potatoes in the oil and spices before spreading on the baking sheet. I also used twice as much cheese as called for which resulted in a crunchier, more flavorful crust.
