I fixed this recipe yesterday for our Thanksgiving meal. It was OK, but it will not be repeat. The herb mixture didn't lend any flavor to the turkey and wasn't really all that tasty onit's own. I expected this to taste much better than it did. The gravy really never came out right. I had to add more flour to it than the recipe called for and it was still too runny. Overall a fair recipe, but you're not really looking for that for a Thanksgiving meal. I want something "fantastic" and this was not it.

This recipe is wonderful. The turkey turns out moist and tasty. I omitted some of the bay leaf but the lemon-parsely rub was wonderful! Be careful to get a boneless breast, my breast still had some of the bones in it and it took a little longer. Make sure you use a thermometer to test.

This recipe alone has revolutionized how I feel about preparing Thanksgiving dinner. I am a personal chef who has always disliked preparing this meal because of the time involved. My family will only eat turkey breast, and this recipe fits the bill!

Easy peasy and DONE! Thanks Rachael!

Ok - not 30 minutes because it takes it 55 to cook. But well worth the wait with minimal prep time. So juicy and good with the aromatic herbs and spices.

    Thank you Rachel Ray!
