I made this receipe last year for Thanksgiving and LOVED it!! I just have one question... I'm hosting Thanksgiving again this year but for 15 people! Can I use this receipe with a whole turkey? I mean... can I still follow the receipe and put the herb past under the skin? Do you think it will turn out as well as just doing the turkey breast?

I saw this recipe 2 years ago during one of Rachel Rays episodes. It is the most delicious turkey I have ever had! I have been making in the past 2 years for Thanksgiving and will continue the tradition this year. It is delicious, easy, fast and affordable!!

I made this last year and my family went crazy. They said must do again, and
again. I not only made the breast meat but I also made thighs, I feed 16 people and they still wanted more. Good Job Rach.

I made this recipe for my family Sunday March 1, 2009. They absolutely loved this recipe!! The turkey was so moist and the flavors were a perfect blend. Follow the recipe exactly as it is written. So GOOD!

I tried this for Thanksgiving exactly as recipe stated except I opted for regular turkey gravy instead of the apple cider gravy. I could not find fresh bay leaves either, so ended up with the dried version too. I found that my turkey skin did not brown in the designated time, even though the oven temp. was the same and I basted according to recipe. My only recommendation would be to make more of the parsley mixture for under the skin, it really adds a wonderful flavor.
Everyone seemed to enjoy this rather than the whole bird.

Guests were treated to a very special Thanksgiving treat.
Could not find fresh bay leaves in our area, so used dry leaves on top and basted
with unsalted butter for the duration of the cooking, which was done on a Weber
gas grill. After cooking, the bay leaves were removed and imparted a wonderful
flavor of fresh herbs. Will try again this summer on the charcoal Weber.

I made this for the first time and it was a hit. Perfect size for two adults and two picky children. My grocer would not remove the bone, but it still tasted phenomenal. It was surprisingly easy to make. I have never made turkey, but this recipe was a great way to get my feet wet.

Simply excellent! No more whole turkeys for us. We really only like the breasts, and this recipe is the best. I added a couple of garlic cloves to the pesto, and made the apple cider/brandy gravy too. It was picture perfect with the pesto adding that stripe of green and incredible taste, and the dark rich mahogany colored gravy. I couldn't find fresh bay leaves, but my dried ones worked just fine. Highly recommend, we will make this again before next Thanksgiving.

I have been making this boneless turkey breast for years because we always deep fry a whole turkey and I need some drippings for gravy.. My grocery will take the breast off the bone for me.. Some won't, so check around because this is a great recipe!!
