I've never been disappointed with any of Rachel Ray's recipes until this one. The sauce is very thin and almost runny in texture and the flavor wasn't as good as we'd hoped for. I agree with the other reviewer that the sesame oil should be cut back.

I'm not a fan of the flavor of honey, but I really like how it turned out with the sauce. I did not have any rice, so I did not make the rice balls, but one of my favorite mixtures is teriyaki sauce with chicken and pineapple. It was great and I would definietly make it again!

I have not watched many of Rachel's shows but I am going to start. This sauce was better than I have ever tried or purchased. I am so impressed. Like other commenters, I added some corn starch to thicken it but that is all the help it needed. The flavor tastes so much different than it smells, it is wonderful and SO FAST! Thank you RR.

I thought the sesame oil was too strong, so would cutback on that to 1 teaspoon and it was much runnier than I expected. Our chicken didn't get a glaze on it like the picture looks like it has. I don't think this one is a keeper for us.

My husband and I really liked this. I did think the sauce was runny so I boiled a little in the pot and used it to carmelize the chicken after grilling. I also grilled the pineapple and added some of the sauce to it as well. I had white sesame seeds so I toasted them with some salt to put on the rice. Very good! Next time I might try adding some other veggies such as bell peppers and onions.

My sauce was too watery for a glaze so I added starch and it was PERFECT. A little too salty for me, so I omitted the salt on the chicken and rice.
    Very quick recipe.

This dish had a nice flavor, but wasn't anything spectacular. Especially for the amount of work that went into preparation, I don't think it was worth it. Nice cheap meal, but plan on dirtying a lot of dishes. Maybe I'm just not coordinated enough to have four pans/pots going at once while prepping ingredients to add to them. (I made broccoli to go along with it which was nice, hence pot #4.

The flavor of this dish was good but the sauce was very thin and watery... not what i had hoped for. I was expecting a thicker type of sauce that you could baste onto the chicken. Anyway, first Rachael Ray recipe i make and i was not too impressed. Probably will not be repeating this one!
