I tried this recipe and it is so easy to prepare and tasted really great. I also like the fact that you can delete or add other ingredients and it still tastes great.

Warning--it makes enough for 10-12 people, not 4 as stated. After husband and I ate two large bowls, the leftovers filled a 10-cup container to the brim.
We left off the cayenne and added another can of diced tomatoes for our tastes. Very good blend of flavors and textures. Perfect on a cool, fall day with a piece of pumpernickel bread, as recommended.

This made for a great dinner. I used spinach instead of chard and red peppers instead of carrots. It was wonderful! We'll definitely be making it again!

This soup was wonderful and easy to prepare. I am a vegetarian so I substituted the sausage with soy protein sausage from the veggie section of the local store. The taste was incredible. Thanks to you Rachel, my mother-in-law loved my cooking!

Fantastic...It was a cold September night here in Kalispell Montana and this was the perfect dinner after a day of hiking.
