Alright, yes, this is not exactly a recipe; it's more like a quick tip, a suggestion; and yes, you can find quick tips like this on the waffle cone boxes... But hey, it is part of a 30 minute meal and since you'll be spending most of the 30 minutes preparing the rest of the dishes (i.e. the chowder and the slaw for the hot dogs what's left is the 1-2 minutes to scoop out the ice-cream. Give Rachel a break!

Or try this: melt some dark chocolate, dip your cones in it, and let them dry (while you're doing the rest, and then proceed... You can jazz up Rachel's tips anyway you want.

I have a similar new recipe for everyone to try. It's called Gum. Open the wrapper and stick it in your mouth. It took me hours to come up with it. Do I get my own show now too?

The show is 30 Minute MEALS, She is showing that you can make a delicious complete meal, with a kid-friendy, fun simple dessert in half an hour. If anything is gives you ideas for different dessert ideas when your tired of the same old thing. I always put my icecream in a bowl. Maybe I'm boring but I appreciated the idea. No need for the harshness. Love ya Rach!

Thanks for the great recipe, it really changed the way I look at preparing food. This whole time I was preparing my ice cream cones without "plugging up the drip-prone hole" with chocolate chips. This recipe has really opened my eyes to an entirely new culinary experience.

The people that write reviews are uptight and vicious. This is like a super-simple recipe for kids to make. If you want something with 60 ingredients and 2 hours of prep time...get recipes from MarthaStewart.com
