I put my heart and soul into this soup, and it blow up in my face. My entire family was there. So plan B pizza.
I followed the direction perfectly. Kids
    don't try this at all.

We forgot to add the stock and decided to try this new
"side dish" instead. Just great. Later, as a soup, we
    loved it as well.

    Brava!

This is a great recipe. So easy to make and delicious. I adjusted the seasonings to my taste and got really creative with toppings. Right now, I'm eating with some added spinach and green onions. Mmmm Mmm Mmmmmm. This is the third time I'm eating it this week (made a huge pot and its just me, but I'm still not tired of it!

We *love* Indian food, but live quite a distance away from any. Usually, we've had to wait until some sort of trip came up in order to indulge. Well, until this recipe!

Initially, I made it just as the recipe dictated. My husband has requested it so many times, I was afraid it would start to get boring, so this last time, I "tinkered" with it a bit. To boost nutrition, I added a package of extra-firm tofu, hoping to mimic the paneer in so many Indian dishes. I also added a few tablespoons of curry paste, and a palmful of garam marsala, purchased over the internet.

Wow! As good as it was before, this really put it over the top. It truly tastes authentic, is *very* affordable, and is ridiculously healthy! (For the naysayers, this is the nutritional breakdown, based on 6 servings per recipe: Per Serving: 606 Calories; 17g Fat (24.9% calories from fat 27g Protein; 90g Carbohydrate; 14g Dietary Fiber; 1mg Cholesterol; 661mg Sodium. Exchanges: 5 Grain(Starch 2 Lean Meat; 2 Vegetable; 0 Non-Fat Milk; 2 1/2 Fat. We don't follow any of the low-carb diets, as I have done extensive studying on the wsubject of carbs, and feel that "healthy" carbs are truly vital in a healthy diet-- beans, whole-wheat pastas, and starchy vegetables such as corn.

This recipe was sooo easy to make and full of flavor! If it's too thick for you just add some water. A really good zesty taste. It went well with rice or by itself.

My husband loved it and I thought it was pretty good. I watched the show and she said you could substitute cinnamon for cardamon, which I did because I don't have cardamon.

This was a good recipe and certainly one of the easiest things I've ever made. However, the flavors were just not complex enough - it needed something else to make it really pop.

We'd had a similar recipe recently that we weren't excited about so I was a little hesitant when our daughter wanted to try this. Finally the fire roasted tomatoes had become available in our store. It was delicious, fast & easy and perfectly spiced. We'll have this on a regular basis!
