As a pretty inexperienced cook, I have to thank Rachael Ray for how simple and easy this recipe was. I have to give it 4 stars, because I did make some major tweaks. First off, I skipped the cumin, Worcestershire, and "grill seasoning" (not even sure what that meant, and instead used a packet of chili seasoning mix. When I added the onion, I also threw in a clove of garlic (chopped. I skipped the bell peppers, used a full bottle of beer, and added a can of diced tomatoes, a can of kidney beans and a can of black beans. I took it easy on the BBQ sauce (about 1-2 tbsp, and used regular (not smoky. The end result was a rich, savory, hearty chili, not too spicy, with just a hint of a smoky flavor. I served it with chopped cilantro and scallions for garnish, plus some shredded cheddar. Delicious!

I made this last Super Bowl. After the first spoonful people immediately stated "This is some good chili". I opt to use Culinary Circle Carolina Mustard BBQ Sauce and I think that pushed it over the top.

This is a great recipe, in my regular rotation. I add a potato, cilantro and a can of kidney beans. Sometimes I skip the bell peppers. This gets better the next day. Delicious!

Great chili recipe! I love Rachel's Veg Head Three Bean chili but I made it so much that I finally got sick of it and needed something different. This recipe was the change of pace I wanted. I did make some adustments to my own taste though. The BBQ sauce I had was too sweet, so I added a couple of chipotle chilis in adobo sauce as well as the adobo sauce. It gave the chili a smokier flavor. So the BBQ sauce gave it a touch of sweetness at the beginning and then you get a good kick of heat from the chipotles at the end. I also added a can of red kidney beans. Delicious!

This was good, never imagined turkey chili to b so good, never had it before, changed some of the ingredients for didn't have it but still came out good used my leftover turkey and just cut it up long ways almost like shredded turkey, added brown beans and used a whole beer instead of a cup , didn't have the peppers but still came out tasty as can be, and will make again next year.

This is a yummy chili with a perfect balance of spicy and sweet flavors. It's easy to alter the ingredients to make it spicier, sweeter or more hearty by adding beans. It's my new favorite chili recipe!

With some of my own tweaking to fit my family's needs, this was a great recipe! I left out the hot sauce, instead added more chili powder, left out the beer and used beef broth instead. Added garlic and onion powder. Added kidney and pinto beans. I let it simmer for longer, about 45 minutes. Came togther so well! I also used Sandra Lee's cornbread recipe. Hearty and delish supper!!

This was AWESOME. We added some sliced fresh jalepeno when adding the peppers and onions for additional heat. Sooo tasty.

This was an excellent recipe and I have a feeling it will be made quite often in my house. Was surprised to see bbq sauce in the recipe but it added great flavor! I used green bell peppers & a few red & green chili peppers for a bit more heat (Hubby likes SPICY!. Also added both pinto & kidney beans for some extra flavor. Oh! Another thing: I toasted up some crumbled corn muffins from another one of RR's chili recipes and put it on top along with a little shredded cheddar, and I must say it was scrumptious! I'm going to have to bring this to my next family function, and I can't wait to try it out on my lunch buddies at work today!
