1st time I made this it was exactly per instructions. The carrots and celery all but disappeared once cooked, so 2nd time I sliced bigger chunks of both. 1/2 the pesto was used, rest saved for another time. Better results in taste and appearance.

Made this without changing a thing. It came out wonderful! Very nice twist on chicken and dumplings. My daughter even loved it, so it's a winner!

I made this replacing the chicken with seitan chunks, the chicken broth for vegetable broth and the butter for vegan margarine. It is SOOO much better than I imagined. I don't know what the other comment was about with the bright green soup, but they must have processed the pesto far too much or used the wrong amounts.

This is fantastic and is now a favorite of mine.

This was easy and yummy enough for my husband to rate it one of the best. Absolutely nothing negative to say, and nothing that needs to be changed!

LOVED this!! I opted to make my own gnocchi and use jarred pesto. Store bought gnocchi can be too heavy. I used 2 chicken breasts, this made just enough for me and my husband and I have lunch for tomorrow! Also, I just did a few spoonfuls of pesto...just do it to your taste, otherwise you could ruin the dish. I just kept adding and tasting until it seemed right. It could have probably even been ok without pesto at all! It's super cold outside and this was a great addition to my list of comforting winter dishes but will definitely still make year round!
