I made this recipe tonight for dinner. I cut the recipe in half and it was fantastic! I would definitely make this again.

Love this recipe. Used spicy sausage and no hot sauce. Also used about a 1/2 cup of white wine to deglaze the pan before sauteing the garlic, baby portobello and shitake mushrooms (more than the recipe called for as well. Lastly, I used fat free half and half and that thickened up just fine. Next time I might add a little fresh rosemary as well. It is a wonderful dish, although definitely enough for 6-8 people. Served it with a spicy baby arugula salad with a lemon/olive/honey oil dressing. A keeper of a recipe!

My husband loved this. It does make alot so I divided it into two 8x8x2 pyrex dishes and froze one of them. Definitely an excellent recipe.

So glad I found this recipe. Can't wait until I have a huge family, because this will be the perfect family meal. I had leftovers for 3 days and it was still amazing even after sitting in the fridge for 3 days. I will be making this again!

I made this for 2. It sounded like it would be good but it was FABO!! I made half the recipe using 6 ounces of whole wheat penne pasta which was plenty. I used hot Italian sausage and omitted the hot sauce, used a whole 15 ounce can of drained Italian style diced tomatoes and used half and half for the cream. Also, I added a small chopped onion that I sauteed with the mushrooms. Half the recipe really made enough for 4. I served this with Cooking Light's Caesar Salad with Peppers.

LOVE it....for us carnivores it's a great recipe...cheese, meat, baked deliciousness...ah, pure heaven! I made this for my "dish" at my family's Thanksgiving get-together and it was the first dish I ever brought ("you're not a kid anymore, bring a dish!" and it was a hit....I come from a hispanic family so I put in chorizo instead of the sweet sausage and that did the trick! So yummy!

Made a lot of food. Enough to share with friends & family. Hubby even took leftovers for lunch the next day. Delicious & easy to make. Definitely a keeper.
