I made just the salad dressing, and upon tasting it I immediately made a second batch. I made a huge salad with mixed greens, olives, artichoke, etc. and the dressing is yummy with it. Thanks Rachael, this will be a regular for me!

I followed the recipe exactly, and it absolutely sucks. They held up well while I was making the cakes but when I fried them they literally fell apart. I did everything the other readers said, put them in the refrid. THEY STILL SUCKED. Not only were they god aweful, but they were extremely HOT AND SPICY.
I will never make these again what a waste of MONEY AND TIME AND INGREDIENTS. I will stick with my usual old way of making crab cakes.
Hey Rachel.... Need a recipe? Mine is a thousand times better, but I thought I would try something New! Nope Never again.

The potato seemed like a good idea when I watched Rachel make it, but it wasn't good at all. They wouldn't stay together, and just tasted like too much potato and bland. My husband, who usually loves everything I cook, asked me not to make this again.

I love the idea of the potato, but it make the cakes not want to stay together. Next time I will add more crab and less potato. I also added hot sauce to mine. Overall, the flavor was great. Very easy and fast.

My sister has celiac and cannot eat wheat. The use of the potatoes as the filler is a fantastic idea. After eating these, I never make crab cakes any other way! They are truly delicious.

I used her recipe and added in about 4 cooked shrimp roughly chopped into the crab mixture. I also served with a fruit salad you can get from the grocery store. Plus a small green salad with escarole, red cabbage, snow peas, celery, cherry tom, 4-5 greek halfed olives. Something like that, my family enjoyed it! Thanks Rachel

The only problem I had with this was getting the jumbo cakes to cook well. I will make them smaller next time....the red pepper dressing is wonderful and the whole dish a real treat.
