These were great! I used greek seasoning for the lamb because I didn't have the spices called for. Next time I'll try them with the tabbouleh salad.
Update: I've tried making with the spices as written and they're even better! The spices give the lamb a lovely but very distinct cinnamony flavor so if you're not into spiced food you might want to skip or try with greek seasoning. My husband still requests these often. I usually top with a bit of crumbled feta and serve with a Greek salad.

Made these for Dinner and Yummmmmm! So moist and tasty I did add some chopped cucumber to the sauce and had shredded lettuce in place of cabbage. Used what was on hand, but it still came out delicious! Next time, and there will be a next time, I will try the cabbage.

Rachel Ray makes good burgers. The cinnamon and allspice complement the lamb. I made these burgers and my kids and husband thought they were great. I left out the hot pepper for my kids but I'm sure it would have been great too! The spices make the burgers great!

Cinnamon and Allspice belong in Christmas cookies, not in grilled burgers. This tasted horrible - don't go near it. Whoever reviewed this and gave it more than 1 star either has no taste buds or didn't put those spices in the ground meat.

Delicious! I have to hand to Rachel Ray, she knows her burgers. I made this exactly as the recipe states except for the red pepper. I didn't have that on hand, so I substituted 1 tsp of red pepper flakes, and it worked great! I The other recipe I love to make of hers is the bbq chicken burger. It is great and healthier than the traditional beef burger. Try it too. This one is a keeper in my recipe box also.

Even my lamb-avoiding husband loved these burgers and asked me to make them again! The patties were moist and similar in flavor to a good meat loaf. I used red pepper flakes instead of the minced fresh pepper, and buns rather than Pita bread. We skipped the yogurt sauce last time since we were out of the ingredients needed, but plan to try it in the future.

These were really fantastic. I didn't have red cabbage, so I just used lettuce. I also used regular buns instead of pita. The meat itself and the sauce, though, were just as written. Really good. I had usually just done lamb burgers with a little mustard spread on, but this was great.
