We have a lot of local lamb here at our farmer's market so I am always looking for ways to use it. This was a hit and will be part of our "lamb rotation". Only tweek I made was to use toasted Indian Nan in lieu of the pita. YUM!

I rarely eat lamb but that will change now! This was great!! I didn't make patties just browned and crumbed the lamb mixture in a pan. I also used red pepper flakes instead of a fresh one and it worked out great! We made mini lamb tacos with the pocket pita bread. I had left over seedless cucumber so I added it to the yogurt mixture. I will definitely be making this again.

Are we here to review a recipe or bash an artist in the kitchen. You can simply not watch and leave your comments to yourself. Anyone who cooks a lot puts their own twist to certain recipes. (in reference to sonja's other "review' for the salad

I never cook on Monday night, this meal really was fast and simply. Thank you Rachael! The family loved the burgers with all the fix'ins. We only have leg of lamb once a year at Easter. Now we'll have it more often. This recipe is even kid friendly. I have 2 daughters that are great cooks. Thanks A Bunch!!!!!

We made these burgers with ground turkey instead of lamb. They were great! I loved the yogurt sauce...and I used non-fat greek yogurt so it was virtually guilt free! We will definately make these again.

Reminiscent of my mom's and grandmother's Lebanese cooking. The spices were great combination, especially with the garlic yogurt sauce. I substituted a half cup of small grained bulghur wheat soaked in water for 10 min. for the breadcrumbs and it was greart!!!

I've never used lamb or these Mediteranean flavors in my home kitchen before but a burger seemed so approachable and it turned out great! I thought the yogurt sauce was a little bland so I added feta and it was SO Yummy! I would definitely make this again.

Rach really knows what she's doing when it comes to burgers, and this meal is a perfect example. Simple to prepare and full of flavor. The tabeulah, (sp?, salad was a great companion to these burger pita pockets. I had never cooked with bulgar and it made for a fresh and tasty salad, especially with the addition of the toasted pine nuts- yum!
