I don't care much for bacon, but I decided to try it the Rachael way. This is actually way better than other versions of bacon I have tried. My only suggestion is to overlap the bacon, it makes a huge difference.

I don't have a microwave so I attempted this recipe in my toaster oven. The paper towels caught fire and the bacon tasted horrible.

I tried the recipe. The first run was a bit tricky. I had to contact the plate manufacturer to make sure it was "Microwave safe", then had to run out and grab paper towels. Fitting 8 slices of bacon on 1 plate was a tough task. I could have done with only eating 4, but I didnt want to screw up my first time with alternate quantities. 4 - 6 mins is a big gap, I decided after discussing with my mom to go with 5 to be neutral. Fingers were crossed and all went well. This recipe is worth giving a shot, as long as your fully prepared in advance, and posting on your microwave in case your ever hungry for bacon. I can't beleive it took so long to get this recipe out on the internet.

Does it work with toilet paper too?

The paper towel is so delicious that I ate the entire roll!

I made this recipe one late night and wow...DELISH! But I had some leftovers that I thought I would save for the next morning. Boy was I wrong. They tasted terrible. I thought it was because I did not refrigerate (the recipe did not say anything about having to do this with leftovers, so I made this recipe again to cure my craving. But again, it was awful! I should have heeded your warning about it being "LATE NIGHT bacon."

I tried this, but to be honest, I much preferred your Pineapple Wedges recipe, to this one. It is WAY too complex, and it takes too long to prepare! If I want to make some bacon at night, I want it to be quick, or I will be caught by Candlejack, and no-one wants tha

I really like to entertain, and up until now, I've had to rely on those veggie and cold cut platters that you buy from the grocery deli section, with goldfish crackers. No longer! I did a test run making LNB for my boyfriend and his buddies when they were over for a WoW LAN party, and they LOVED it! So now I want to use this recipe when I have my feminist book club meetings, but I need to know: can this be vegan? Also, one of my friends is allergic to gluten? Is bacon gluten free? And another friend is lactose intolerant. Is bacon lactose free? So yeah, I need to know how to make vegan-friendly, gluten free, and lactose free versions of this recipe. Please help!
