Super tasty, ultimately flexible side dish. When I make it for the kids I don't zest the lemons and only use the juice from one lemon. Pairs well with fish, chicken, pork chops, even brats. I return to this recipe often.

Excellent flavor. I had half & half on hand so I substituted that for the cream and the sauce still thickened nicely. I also left out the lemon zest because it always tastes bitter to me. My entire family, including the kids, liked this recipe.

I'm not a great Rachael fan. For me her 5 star recipes are hit or miss, with far too many misses. However, I'd rate this a 6 star if I could. So simple, yet so flavorful. I left out the lemon zest and it came out just fine. Added extra garlic, too! My picky 12 and 15 year old daughters snarfed it up!

I saw Rachael make this on her show and I was intrigued. I've made this recipe a couple of times and love it. I find it easiest when I have all of the ingredients ready to go into the pan of oil. Last time my garlic got a little well done before I was able to get the lemon juice and cream in. But it still tasted awesome.

I used wheat pasta. I followed the recipe mostly, reducing the heavy cream because i added a dollop of goat cheese at the end. Even with the parmasan the goat cheese was delightful. I also added a couple of chopped plum tomatoes and just a few chopped scallions. Got soooo many compliments.

My family loved this meal. We changed it up a bit, my husband grilled up 4 chicken breasts (we have a family of 6, and we had some leftovers. We also didn't have cream, so we subbed Half-n-Half. I would like to try the cream next time, but it was great that it was a "lighter" sauce. Believe it or not, I was out of garlic after the holiday, so we sauteed red onions. A big hit!

I have made this several times and it is wonderful each time. My favorite variation is to saute mushrooms and fresh spinach when the pasta goes in. I add these along with about 8 oz. of fresh, boneless, skinless salmon cut into bite-size pieces to the very end of the simmer. Be sure to only cook the salmon 1-2 minutes tops. Enjoy!
