I made this for Christmas Eve dinner because lobster tails were on sale and I didn't know what else to make. I added 2 very large shrimp per lobster tail to the recipe (I just sauteed them in butter and then added them to the cooked lobster meat. Then, when I stuffed them, I made a couple of overstuffed tails for the big eaters and some lightly stuffed ones for the kids.

It was really hard at first to get the lobster meat out of the tails. It was easier when I broke the little "feet" off before I tried to cut into the bottom part of the shell.

Panko breadcrumbs worked beautifully, it was gorgeous, and we have a new tradition!

This was my first time making Lobster Thermidor. I was trying to duplicate the experience my husband and I had on vacation, which mainly consisted of the most delicious LT we'd ever had. RR's recipe was fantastic! I'm a pretty good cook and I impressed myself : We had a fabulous dinner.

I prepared this dish as a part of a meal for my daughter's 21st birthday celebration. This recipe was clear and easy to follow. The dish was a hit with the famliy, leaving nothing for leftovers. I recommend it to anyone who wants quick, easy, and delicious.

I just finished making this. Very creamy and the lobster is delicious. I used fresh lobster tails and also threw in the claw meat. Although it would have made for beautiful presentation, I didn't serve it on the shells, but served it along whole wheat pasta. I also used half and half in place of milk, but splashed a bit at the end. I recommend using dry sherry to cook this dish. Fabulous again Rachel Ray!

I normally dont make Rachel Ray recipes but I thought I would give this one a shot...bad idea. This was the worst lobster recipe I have ever had. Was not very creamy, cooking the lobster twice (boil & saute really over cooks the meat, onions are not good! Just Horrible!

I made this for Valentines Day, and my boyfriend said it was the BEST lobster he had ever had. I absolutely agree--This was WELL worth the price of the lobster.

Made it for my boyfriend's birthday. I did both lobster and shrimp and had the whole thing over angel hair. it was really outstanding.

This recipe is easy and delicious for a special meal. I use Gruyere cheese instead of the cheddar. Everyone loves this dish.
