I have only tried the smashed cauliflower and have made it on several occassions. The first time I made the cauliflower was with 3 cups of chicken broth which was too runny and too much stock. Now I make this dish with only one cup of chicken broth and it turns out delicious everytime

I made this recipe and my family just love it. But don't forget to take off all the water before putting the butter and the cheese. I will make it again.

This was my first time ever making a london broil. I was very nervous about having it turn out too dry.I didn't make any of the side dishes. I did cook the steak according to directions, though a little longer since we don't care for rare meat. I also made the gravy and found it to be a lovely addition to the meat.
Plain and simple, we had ours with a side of wild rice and mixed veggies. My children and husband loved the meat and asked for seconds!
We are definitely trying this one again. Maybe next time with the side dishes!

I steered away from this cut of meat before because I never knew how to cook it without ending up with a tough and tasteless hunk of meat. But this recipe is really quick and easy and the gravy adds a wonderful flavor. I use the "Woozy" marinade on the back of the Worcestershire sauce bottle and let it marinade for at least 24 hours for extra flavor. I opted for the grill just because I knew I would not get the same results with our broiler. It works great and keeps hubby out of our small kitchen while I finish dinner.

We also really like the smashed cauliflower. We were getting tired of mashed potatoes and I had never thought of using cauliflower. It also makes for a great toddler friendly food...I just scoop out a few pieces before I smash it and our 18 month old has a flavorful and healthy finger food with no extra work. I have yet to try the chard recipe as it is near impossible to find it in our area but the recipe also works great for spinach...another toddler favorite in our home.

This was all good but the cut of meat was tough. The gravy was delicious, and so was the cauliflour and red chard side dishes. I did drain off the excess broth before mashing, and can't imagine what it would have been like had I not. Great suggestion. It was very yummy.

And addicting! Everytime London Broil goes on sale I pick some up just to make this recipe! the side dishes I probably won't try- I made parmasan mashed potatoes to go with instead and it's wonderful!

This recipe takes alot longer to prepare than stated though, since slicing a large steak thinly can take awhile. Thus the reason for only 4 stars instead of 5.

My fussy boyfriend even likes this- and he hates gravy! Thanks Rachael!

We tried the Cauliflower. I'm not a veggi eater, yet, this mashed cauliflower recipe was wonderful! I also found that the chicken stock did not boil down enough and had to pour some out in the end. Love it, Love it, Love it!

I made the Ham with Red Chard and it came out delicious. I also added 1/2 cup or so of chicken stock while the chard was cooking and they came out nice and tender and very tasty.
