This is a fabulous recipe. I don't understand some of the reviews where they had problems w/ the roux & sauce. It was very simple, you just put it in a small pot & stir it all together. Then you just dump it into the noodles & dump the chicken & onions in w/ the noodles & mix together! I was at first a little concerned abt the Paprika & Cayenne pepper but wanted to follow the recipe. My kids (ages 2 & 6 loved this recipe & it wasn't spicy at all. It barely had a little kick but it was sooo delicious.

This recipe makes a TON of food and was fun to make. I thought i must have misread the recipe but sure enough it does call for a whole pound of macaroni. Also, the broccoli gets lost. Next time I will half the recipe but still use the same amount of broccoli.
The dish was yummy, but a bit on the heavy side. Definitely need to make a salad with it. Cayenne was a nice kick.

This recipe was simple and taste good. It can actually take under 30 minutes which is great since not all Rachaels meals are under 30 minutes like she claims.

This was a pretty good recipie. However, I did have a hard time tying all the steps together and it took a little more than 30 mins to make. The sauce was a little tricky, and I didn't think it would thicken, but it ended up thicking beautifully. I think it needed more chicken for the amount of pasta it calls for. All in all, I will definately try this again.

What a great recipe, and what a lifesaver. My picky eater (4-year old ate broccoli for the first time ever, and she loved it. The best part is it took me less than 30 mins to make. Thank you so much!!!

This recipe was very disappointing. I am a fan of 30 Minute Meals & own many of Rachael's cookbooks. However, this dish was soooo bland, I felt I had to write a review. It was definitely not worth the 'MORE' than 30 minutes and $ I put into making it. I'm not sure what went wrong. I am very familiar with making roux, so I understand the importance of cooking the flour for a brief time to remove the raw flour taste. I do not thinkg that was the problem. And I agree with other reviewers in that the sauce was grainy. This recipe may be improved by adding more chicken, more veges or more spices.

I liked it, but I thought it had a very strong onion flavor. Next time I will make it without the onions or grate a little bit into the sauce or something. We did think it was a little gritty, but could barely tell and really didn't care. I used frozen broccoli and the broccoli was a little bit mushy. i'll try fresh broccoli next time. Overall it was good. If I could give it four and a half stars I would.
