I don't know if I did something wrong or if it's the recipe itself. The sauce was grainy and looked like it was curdled. Tasted bland, with only faint hints of flavor from the mustard and beer. No cheese flavor at all. Only part of food with appetizing appearance was the hot dog chunks. Definitely looked better on TV than it did in my kitchen.

I wasn't sure about this combination of flavors at first but it is one of the best mac and cheese recipes I've had! I think next time I might leave out the onions though, but this is really good!

I watched this on 6/27 and it was so easy and I had everything so I made it tonight. Everyone loved it. Used Miller Lite as the beer and you could faintly taste the beer in the background. Very good. Also, I only had regular yellow mustard, definitely use the stadium mustard next time, can see how it would make it taste better.

I watched this on 6/28 and made it on 6/29. It was so easy to make and it came out tasting fabulous. This is great to make for kids as well. A real hit and it makes plenty.
