    Not bad

Rated: 3 stars out of 5
This looked delicious on the show, but didn't turn out so well when I made it. Wasn't as creamy as I like, but that could be a personal preference -- normally I love RR's recipes, but this one just didn't live up to the norm.

    Not Very Good

Rated: 2 stars out of 5
I followed the recipe and my sauce turned out creamy and smooth but the falvor isn't very good. I added extra mustard and catsup but it didn't help enough. Maybe okay for a family with young kids. I won't make again.

    pretty good

I made this with Tofu Pups (vegetarian hot dogs) and thought it was quite tasty. Based on the earlier reveiws I did add about 1 tsp of additional red pepper flakes, however. Also went with a longer aged cheddar cheese for more flavor.

    mmmmmmm!

This recipe was so delicious! My family of 3 finished this off in no time. Even my impossible to feed 2 year old ate it up. It was so easy. I used a bacardi twister instead of beer and it was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend it.

I think this was good, and my family liked it as well. However, keep an eye on the pan once you add the milk, my sauce broke.

    Pretty good stuff

Rated: 4 stars out of 5
It was really easy to make. I used a half the ketchup, which was plenty. I can't believe I am saying this, but it was almost too rich. Very flavorful and a real crowd pleaser. Next time though, I'll use it as a side dish and leave the hot dogs out. They really didn't do a thing for the flavor.

Easy and kids and teen-agers love it - add to the 'comfort' food list for winter and the Super Bowl - use only good quality beer! Thanks Rachel!

    My nieces LOVED this recipe

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
This is a very simple to make recipe that my nieces loved. My nieces are very hard to please.. I made two of these one with the beer, and one with broth instead.... my nieces loved both of them, but ate more of the "grownup" one than the "Kid Friendly" one. On the other hand, my sister in law did not like the beer "tang". Make this one for a nice cold weekend!

    not that good

This recipe just did not taste very good at all. It was edible, but most of it ended up in the garbage can. I'd rather have kraft mac&cheese. Sorry Rachael.

    o.k.

Rated: 4 stars out of 5
This recipe is o.k but you're better off substituting this recipe for Alton Brown's baked macaroni and cheese recipe and just add the hot dogs.

    Yuck--o

Rated: 1 stars out of 5
My family really didn't like this dish. The texture of the sauce was yucky and you couldn't taste the cheese. It's a good concept though. I think I will try this with "regular" mac and cheese and add hot dog "fixin's".

    Just Okay

Rated: 2 stars out of 5
My family ate this dish, but I wasn't thrilled with the taste. The sauce was very bland. I used Hebrew National beef hot dogs, which I felt were too salty. Next time, if there is a next time, I will try turkey hot dogs. Rachel still hasn't won me over.
