I didn't love it. I am an experienced cook and I cook daily. These burritos were just OK.
Husband and kids ate it but it just wasn't the hit in my house like some of the other reviews.
I made everything except the salsa, and for that I bought a good quality salso from the produce department. Won't make again.

I made this for a very large crowd and it was a big hit. The chicken/chorizo combination is the highlight. I used Mexican chorizo to answer marymical's question and broke it up in the pan like you would with bulk Italian sausage. You can make everything in advance for a party and heat just prior to serving. The second time I made it I just used pre-made salsa from the grocery store and it was just as good and saved a lot of time chopping.

Does anyone know if she means spanish or mexican chorizo? I'm thinking its spanish because she say to slice it.

Easy to make, terriffic outcome! I would suggest making the sour cream and salsa first. After I blended my sour cream it was almost liquid, but 30 minutes in the fridge set it right back up. The salsa is delish, but there is a lot of liquid from the tomatoes. Letting it set while you make the other ingredients lets you drain some of that off so you don't have a soupy burrito. Thanks Rachel!

I only made the green onion sour cream and it was a hit with the family. I was making a burrito dinner for my son-in-law's birthday and decided to try this sour cream recipe. While the meal was quite good, the star of the show was the sour cream. We will be utilizing this recipe with a variety of mexican foods. It is a "keeper" and will become a family treasured recipe.

My two college-aged children request this first whenever they are home on breaks.
They absolutely love this recipe. It is, as other reviewers have suggested, far from a thirty minute meal to prepare, but well worth the effort and long prep time.
It is so full of flavor and wonderful textures.

Easy and Delicious. I add more chilli powder, but either way great!

The chicken/chorizo burrito filling is simply outstanding. You deserve to have this on your dinner plate ... and so do all of your friends. The green onion/sour cream/lime sauce really sets the dish off. I liked the bean filling, but the chicken was so delectable in comparison I ate chicken till I couldn't button my pants.
