No more taco mix packets for us. Made this for dinner tonight and it was fantastic! We only made the turkey filling - this was a taco bar for two. Looking forward to the leftovers for tomorrow. This was very quick, easy, and yummolicious.

I made the taco filling with ground beef instead of turkey because my grocery store didn't have any ground turkey at the time, and the picco. The tacos were so good! A great change from the usual taco seasoning. Thank you Rachael, we love your shows.

I made both fillings and a taco bar of toppings (including the Tex Mex Red Beans and Rice on the side for our housewarming. Both fillings were a hit, everyone had seconds and wanted to know how I'd cooked them, and I got to feel like a cool and capable hostess in front of my family. Everyone wins! Also, I really enjoyed biting into a taco and having it taste great, and knowing that I hadn't used a packet. The only reason I'm giving the fillings 4 out of 5 is that these dishes take longer than 30 minutes to prepare. If your veggies are already washed and chopped, then yes, 30 minutes will work. If not, budget an hour.

We made the Chipotle Turkey Taco Filling to use with tortillas and it was very good. However, I did not use turkey but substituted Quorn? Grounds which is a meatless ground product. The chipotle really made the dish. Also plan on making this recipe with turkey and beef for our non vegetarian guests. Followed the recipe except for the turkey.

The chipotle turkey tacos were so good and quick! I also didn't have any plan tomatoe sauce so I used some basil & onion pasta sauce and you couldn't even tell. Loved the spiciness of this dish as well. Definetly a keeper!

This is the best taco recipe EVER!! We are trying to eat healthier and decided on turkey tacos. We were almost fighting over who was gonna get the next taco shell I was frying up.(didn't use store bought shellsWe modified the recipe a bit but not much. May take a bit longer then 30 mins if making you own shells. However, well worth the extra time. Didn't try the pork recipe since we only wanted tacos.I'm already thinking about other recipes using the turkey meat as a filler.

I made the turkey recipe (used Boca soy meat instead and I've realized I must hate chipolte peppers, b/c I hate the way this recipe tasted. My boyfriend said it was okay, but once I pointed out the chipolte flavor he agreed with me, leading me to believe he was just being nice before :o I would rather save 30+ min and a few bucks and just used the regular old taco seasoning. Maybe try this recipe if you love the smokey flavor of chipoltes.

I only made the turkey taco recipe and thought it tasted more like sloppy joes with a bit of a kick. The chipotle pepper adds a barbeque taste. We like the traditional taco mix better.

I'll make at least one of the taco meat recipes once a week for the family. I like to switch it up every week.
