The oven fries are tasty and came out well, but I fear that the 500-degree cooking temperature may be above the vegetable oil's smoke point. My kitchen and oven were filled with smoke for five minutes!

The high temperature definately makes cooking time less...They come out perfect after the 20 minutes in the oven.

these oven fires were very easy to make and very tasty. I liked them with malt vinegar but were also tasty with ketchup. ingredients can easily be found in anyone's kitchen. try it!!
