To quote RR "YUMMO!" The marinade was excellent and the salsa was great as well. Other reviews stated the salsa being too sweet. I didn't find that at all. The sweetness really brought out the flavors in the Halibut. If you are affraid of the salsa being too sweet, you can always add a little at a time. BTW the marinade also works well with Salmon.

I am really looking forward to making this soon. I love fish tacos and my mother is visiting, and she loves them too! This looked PERFECT! And my the other comments, I did good my only buying 4 tomatillos...my kids wont eat the leftovers! and so, less honey and more kick? I can do that. Thanks!

This was DELICIOUS! After reading the reviews, I did decide to leave out the honey in the salsa though, and it was fantastic. I am a huge salsa verde fan, so I was a little leary of this, but WOW! It's awesome! It does make a lot of salsa, but the left over is sooo good with tortilla chips! I also left out the tequilla because I'm pregnant and didn't want to invest in a whole bottle since I won't be drinking for a while. : I just used two limes instead and the fish was still wonderful, and very flavorful! I am so glad that I tried this because it was great and I will defintely be making this again and again!

Made this recipe with boned, skinless, pounded chicken breast. It turned out very delicious. Loved this recipe except next time I will leave the honey out of the salsa as it was just too sweet for me and my family. I just didn't seem to go with the flavors of the meat.

I have made these tacos twice and they're delicious. Also, in response to one
person's comments about not liking the salsa because it was sweet.....it's supposed to be
sweet. Not all salsas are spicy!!

I used to make all of R Ray's recipes but this has got to be the worst. The marinade should have some kick to it, it didn't I tried to add sliced jalapenos but still not good. The salsa was terrible (unless you like sweet salsa. When she made it on tv it looked great. I should have known by looking at the ingredients, red onion should be yellow onion, I added 2 jalapenos but still no kick, who adds honey to salsa? (I did not add honey to my salsa. I tried to save it by adding more garlic, yellow onion and even a can of green salsa. I am going to stick with Bobby Flay, Melissa D'Arabian and Marcela Valladolid for my Mexican Food recipes.

The marinade and the resulting fish turned out very delicious. However, my family and I found the Tomatillo Salsa to be a bit too lemon-y. I followed the ingredients, amounts and directions to a "T". I have since looked at several other Tomatillo Salsa recipes and only one other called for lemon juice, and only a teaspoon or two at that! This recipe called for an entire lemon juiced AND the zest. DId anyone else find this to be the case? I will make the salsa again but will use lime juice next time, and a much smaller amount as well.

Caught this episode and she mentioned the name of a light Mexican restaurant where she got the idea . . . Mamasita Mia or something like that? Did anyone get the name correctly? Thanks!
