I just made this for dinner. I saw that it was cast and easy. I have to say my husband loved it.. instead of cooking it inside we love to grill outside, it gives food a better taste. I will make this again. Thank you Rachel.

I made the flank steak and the potatoes last night and we loved both. The marinade was tasty, the flank steak turned out perfect. The potatoes were tasty and very easy to make. I am not a big fan of leeks but I used them and was amazed at the flavor. We did not use the sour cream as recommended. This will be a recipe that I use again and again. Thanks for the great recipe.

I just made the flank steak, followed the recipe for the marinade, used my Deni meat tenderizer, and let it marinade over night. The flavors were wonderful, the steak wasn't tough at all (I don't know if it is from marinade, or the Deni, or a combo of the 2. Even my picky daughter loved it. Will do again. This was my first flank steak too, I did have to cut it and then throw the strips back on the grill for a minute, as it was a little too pink for me, but after that, it was all good and yummy!! Will do again!

It was flavorful... I marinated it for about 2 hours and cooked over a charcoal grill. Next time I will marinate overnight.

Delicious!! I may not use so much oil next time and maybe more vinegar...just a personal taste, but family loved it!

I can't believe what I have been missing out on the last few years!! FLANK STEAK rocks! I saw a flank steak at Wegmans and grabbed it when I couldn't find an eye roast for a roast beef dinner. I was skeptical about using this cut of meat because I've heard how tough it is, but since I've seen the team on The Chew use it so often I decided to go for it. I cannot believe how TENDER and flavorful it was! The marinade really got into the meat--my husband who puts A1 on every beef dish skipped it! I wish we had leftovers for a fajita lunch today, but no such luck. :

The marinade for the steak is amazing, I've had it with many different cuts of meat. My extremely picky Fiance really enjoyed it. Potatoes were pretty good too, bacon is the quickest way to anyone's heart

I tried this recipe because I had a flank steak and wasn't sure how to prepare it. I was also intrigued by the use of the leeks. I was pleasantly surprised when everyone really liked it. The steak was superb and the potatoes were a unique combination of texture and tastes. I will certainly make this again, especially since my daughter, who is a rather picky eater, ate everything on her plate. Thank you, Rachael! I have added it to my recipe box!

I'd never even bought a flank steak (or "flap meat", because it looked like it would be tough. While visiting family in Florida, I wanted to "scare up" something quick for dinner. I looked in the freezer and saw a pack of "flap meat." I had no idea how to cook it so I went online and found this recipe. It was a huge success! Fast, tasty AND tender! No leftovers!
