I've always been scared to grill steak but this was easy and delicious! I've made it twice already and it's a keeper!

The marinade for the steak was simple and tasted great on chicken too! The smashed potatoes took on a new twist with tomatoes in them! A great meal!

I loved this recipe. I can't buy flank steak here where I live. The grocery stores say that it is too expensive to carry. I subsituted mine and my husbands favorite ribeye. I think this marinade would be great on any steak you like. The potatoes were WONDERFUL! We had this twice in two weeks we loved it so much. I can't wait for another 30 min steak recipe. Those are my favorite. Thanks Rachael

For Labor Day I made only the potato portion of this recipe (divided the whole thing in one-half to serve two, and a different flank recipe that was even more simple. Subbed green onions for the leek. At the very end the potatoes seemed too loose, so I mixed in I slice of Kraft American Cheese Singles. These potatoes were VERY GOOD!!! We did not care for the dollop of sour cream on top of them—perhaps because I only had the light stuff.

I absolutely LOVE the steak. We've made it twice so far. I'm not too crazy about the potatoes, though.

Excellent flavor. Being in a Greek house, I used yogurt/garlic/cucumber/dill sauce instead of sour cream. BLT potatoes absolutley fabulous!

I have to admit the potatoes sounded a bit strange to me when i first saw this recipe but I had to try it because Rachael has never failed me before. And yet again, this recipe was absolutely fantastic. Unique and delicious.
