    The meat was tasty and easy to make, and the potatoes were really good, but the best part for me was using the leftover potatoes the next day. I formed them into patties and cooked the patties in butter. SO DELICIOUS! I'll be slicing the leftover meat and using it in steak sandwiches tonight. Can't wait.

    I've made this flank steak four ties now and have gotten raves every time. Only change is that I let it marinade for about 6-7 hours.

    Been making this for my family ever since I got my first Rachael cookbook 5 years ago... it is one of our favs and I make it at least once a month... just did a test run on some friends with just the taters and they were gone before I could get any!! I even doubled up the recipe!! What a hit!

    I only made the steak with marinade; will save the potatoes for another time. Marinade was easy to make and although it had good flavor, none of our guests were raving about it. I like that it's all natural and doesn't come from a bottle or have high fructose corn syrup in it. Will definitely make again.

    This is now one of our "go to" recipes. Because it was winter when I found this recipe, we pre-cut the flank steak & marinated all afternoon. A quick "flash fry" on the skillet and stuffed into hoagie buns. The flavor of the meat is out of this world. When I tell my husband this is what we're having for dinner, he gets a big grin on his face! We've also served with sweet potato fries & a salad. Doesn't get much better or easier than this! Try it ... you will love it & then feel compelled to post how wonderful it is. Thanks, Rachael Raye - my hubby loves me more because of you ;

    Okay, All...my husband usually compliments my cooking AFTER he eats, or during the meal IF I ask his opinion.

    BUT, with this recipe he raved as soon as he had his first bite...then twice more during the meal and finally AFTER the meal! He was utterly impressed with its deliciousness and tenderness.

    Rachael is once again a Godsend for a quickie meal. I marinated each side for 15 minutes for a total of 30 since I had the time to do it.

    It's now one of my "go-to" recipes for weeknight dinners. I pound the flank steak a bit with a meat mallet before putting it in the marinade. I marinete it in a covered 13x9 glass pan in the fridge while I'm at work all day and grill at dinner time. I have an 11 year old kid in the house that is THE pickiest eater I have ever seen, and this is his favorite. Just the right amount of flavor without anything weird....everyone loves it. The smoked paprika does make a difference, so definitely use it if you have it. If you don't, go get some and use it next time you make this recipe....there WILL be a next time, I promise!

    Love this so much I made it twice in one week! The first time I marinated it over night which I prefer because it is a little more flavorable and tender. The second time I marinated it for four hours and it was still yummy!
