This marinade was excellent. It was easy and I had all the ingredients in the pantry. I have used store bought marinades and let the steak marinade overnight and they didn't have as much taste as this quick simple marinade and method.
Thanks again Rachel for another wonderful recipe.

I love this steak marinade!! I made it for my husband and I and we both loved it! There was so much flavor. I will definitely be making this one again! I didn't make the potatoes, but I plan on it in the future.

This dish has become a regular on Sunday nights. My entire family can't get enough of it and frequently requests it. The best news is it's one of the easiest recipes out there. I combine all the ingrdients in a large cookie sheet and sometimes double it for parties and it's ALWAYS a HUGE hit. This one is a must for the busy croud!

The smashed potatoes are out of this world! Don't skimp on the sour cream, it just makes them creamier when mixed.

I have not made the potatoes yet but make the flank steak over and over. That marinade is so flavorful. My husband does not like spicy food but the hot sauce really brings out the flavors of the meat. REALLY GOOD. I cook it in the broiler when it's too cold outside for about 6 to 7 minutes per side.

I don't have a grill so I broiled it and maybe thats why I didn't like the steak as much, but I did think the marinade was really awesome. The mashed potatoes were really great too! I will next time add more bacon b/c I think it is one of life's luxuries. It made a ton of food and was a really fast meal too.

This steak is very good! It has become a regular dinner at our house - my husband loves it and so do our kids. The cooking time is perfect. I didn't make the potatoes.

I made this for a last minute New Years Eve dinner and as Rachael would say, "YUM-O!" Very fast, easy and so good! I did let the steak marinate for several hours so the flavor was perfect!
