This recipe was good but not a favorite of mine. I did n't have apple cider so I used apple juice. I love the onions and apples but it called for too much thyme. The sweet potatoes was bland with the orange marmalade so I added brown sugar and white sugar, it turned out great with a different twist because of the orange marmalde. I don't think I will be making this recipe again. Rachel has some other recipes with pork chops and apples / or applesauce that a much better than this one.

I made this the other night by the recipe. It seemed really bland and just didnt really come together as well as I'd expected. I would recommend changing it up a bit to add more flavor.

We had this last night for our Sunday supper. I try to do something special every Sunday. OMG this was special. I did change up a couple of things. I only had hard cider in the house so I used it, I left out one of the onions based on others reviews. And because my chops where a little on the thick side I put the apple and onions in the sauce and poured it over the chops and put them in the oven for about 15. I was out of fresh thyme so I used fresh sage instead. My family LOVED this. Thanks Rach!!!

I had some apple cider left over after a holiday party. This receipe was a perfect use for it. So yummy and flavorful. I am only cooking for 2, so we had enough for an encore performance on another night. Try this one...really good! Thanks, Rach!

I liked it, but I think it might have been better to dredge the pork chops in flour first before cooking them. Other than that, it was pretty good!

Only thing I liked about this recipe was the potatoes, other than that N O. Another Rachael Ray let down.

Tried this one for the first time tonight. My husband was not crazy about the onions and apples but liked the gravy. I made regular mashed potatoes. I, on the other hand, absolutely loved it. I am german and it sort of reminded me of something european. Very tastey and perfectly suited for the fall weather.

My family loved this! I made it with garlic mashed potatoes instead of sweet potatoes, so I can't comment on the marmalade. Even my picky eater ate it all!

Delish! Used squash instead of sweet potatoes, the marmalade was a wonderful accent to the squash. Easy and quick!
