I have to say i just made these potatoes for christmas dinner i served them with a standing rib roast and everyone at the table loved them. I have no idea of how that reviewer could say this recipe was anything less than outstanding. I did take the advice of using milk and sour cream 1/2 cup each as a replacement for the chicken stock. But they were simply the best sweet potatoes i have ever had

PLEASE listen to the "1" reviews before you try this for anyone other than your own family. Fortunately I was making regular mashed potatoes as well otherwise I would have been forced to come empty handed to our Thanksgiving dinner. There is no way I would bring this anywhere. Really it is that bad. My husband will eat almost anything and he gagged. As did all four of our boys. I know people have different tastes, but think before you make this.

Easy! Excellent! Delicious! This recipe came out perfect the first time. Directions were very easy to follow for a non-chef like myself. Prep time was just as described. My wife & kids loved it!

This was a hit for me. It turned out really good. I didn't have chicken broth, so I just used butter. I think the orange juice gave it an interesting twist and a nice aroma.

Promise I am an excellent cook and have good taste - and this recipe was just plain bad. The flavors were totally off. I brought it for a potluck (too late to make something else 30 minutes before we had to leave, and it was the only thing left on everyone's plate at the end of the evening. Maybe if you had the recipe sitting in front of you and could try to pick out the flavors, you might find it interesting ... but if you don't know what is in it, the flavors are terrible. Would never make again. NO CLUE why it gets such a high rating?!?!?!?
