I make these for spagetti, too. I use jarred sauce in place of making my own. My husband loves these- it is one of the few recipes that he requests!

Being a vegetarian, I don't eat meatballs but being a mother, I do make them. I have to say that these are the easiest, healthiest meatballs I have ever seen. I love the fact that they're cooked in the oven and aren't dry when you take them out! Plus, the meatballs don't last long at supper either-that's why I make a double batch! And clean-up is a snap. I'd recommend these to anyone looking for a filling, tasty meal!

I'm not Italian, so anything that has to do with meatballs and sauce usually intimidates me. However, this recipe showed me that I have nothing to be afraid of. This recipe is easy, and pretty self-explanatory.

The meatballs came out well. I made the balls a little larger though, so they took a bit longer to cook than stated in the recipe. I added a bit of ground pork to my balls as well, so they were a bit moister.

As for the sauce, it came out well, considering I didn't simmer it all day. I wouldn't use it on pasta, but it was good for a sandwich.

The fries were good, but again, I made them too large. Also, I seasoned the fries a bit, so they had some bite to them.

Overall, the recipe was decent, and I would gladly make it again. It's easy to follow and good for when you have a meatball sub craving.

I use the meatball and sauce recipe with pasta as well as on subs. I like the easy clean up of the baked meatballs. The whole family likes this recipe, just needs a lot of napkins!
