I have made this recipe about 7-8 times, and it continues to fall apart. I add everything that the recipe calls for, and when you put the patties in the skillet, they start to seperate and you can see bye bye to a "patty" when it's time to flip them. It looks more like flavored ground beef in the pan, than anything else.
The only reason why I gave this 2 stars instead of one is for the gravy. It is easy to make, and is quite tasty. I would add some sauted mushrooms to it as well...... So, my advice, use the gravy recipe with some other meatloaf recipe, because this one is awful!!

On a cold snowy night in the mountains there is nothing better than some "comfort food" and man-o-man did this one hit the spot. My husband loved it, he said the left overs the next day were even better. He even raved about it some friends.

I made this recipe last night for my family and mind you I have four children and I can honestly say, we loved it. It took me a little longer to make it than Rachael but thats because I had to double it. I even used the palm measuring tool. I had to substitute salt potatoes in place of the small red potatoes because my grocery store was out of them. They worked wonderfully!!! I also seperated the potatoes into two batches so that I could add the scallions to the adult batch and sweet yellow onion to the kids batch. I wanted them to have the flavor without seeing the onion and it worked. Now I just have to figure out what I am making for dinner tonight.

This version of meatloaf has been a regular in our household for the past two years! My kids and husband love it and it takes me no time at all to put together. Overall, a real tasty and comforting dinner :- Thanks, Rachel.

Good but not my absolute favorite Rachael Ray recipe. The meat came out juicy but I just wasn't thrilled with the flavors. My mom, however, loved it. And it was very easy to make and came out fairly nice looking, so I would consider making it again. Definitely good, just not amazing.
